About PTA

Clearwater Bay School Parent Teacher Association Limited

The Parent Teacher Association exists to provide involvement of parents in the activities and general welfare of the school. Social activities enable you to meet other parents in a friendly and casual way. The PTA organise social functions for the children; and fund raising events to provide the school with equipment not supplied by ESF.

 

PTA Office

The PTA office is located in the undercover area opposite the uniform shop and is open on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday in Term 2, from 8.15am to 2.45pm. Kerensa Heywood and Kate Baldwin are the PTA Administrators and will be happy to help with any queries you may have. Please feel free to drop in, call 2358-3286 or e-mail: cwbspta@cwbs.edu.hk

P.T.A Committee members are elected every year at the Annual General Meeting in September.

Membership Selection

Since the inception of the ESF Ordinance (2008), all parents are required to join their childs’ school PTA. Clearwater Bay School PTA has joined the central billing and collection of PTA Membership fees organised by ESF.

The ESF will invoice and collect the fees for 2016/2017 on our behalf. The annual family membership is $300 and as a member you will be invited to our various socials for all year groups and family events.

Invoices will be sent home from the ESF please make cheques payable to “CWBS PTA Limited” and send into the PTA.

 

PTA Privilege Card

After you paid the PTA membership, you will receive a PTA Privilege Card. Upon presentation of this card, participating retailers will provide discounts ranging from 5-15% with terms and conditions apply.

School Council

The PTA has two representatives on the school council who keep us informed of new developments in the school organisation and also pass on parent’s views. A representative on the Joint Council of the PTA’s keeps all schools in touch and allows the sharing of ideas.
