‘Think Green’ CWBS School Fair

We are fast approaching the biggest CWBS fundraising event of the year, the School Fair, Saturday, 3rd of November, 1-5pm. Our theme this year is ‘Sustainability’. Tara Delaney, Chair of the PTA is the leading coordinator for this event, so please be in touch with the PTA team if you have donations, ideas, or time you can give to make this event completely amazing. Class contacts will be in touch with you by email about your child’s class activity for the fair.

If you have any donations of good quality second hand books, toys and games, bric-a-brac and clothes to sell at the ‘White Elephant’ stall, please start bringing them AFTER the half term break.

In particular, we are in need of donations of cookie decorations, sample sale suppliers and prizes for the Silent Auction. Wherever possible we are trying to promote the theme of sustainability, so please keep this in mind for donations and ideas. Contact Tara Delaney and the PTA if you can help.

Pie Day

The PTA will run Pie Day on the 12th October. Thanks to all the parents who signed up and paid for their child’s lunch by the deadline. Please send your child in with cutlery on the day to make it easier for them to eat their pies.

If you missed the deadline, please ensure your child is given a packed lunch from home on the 12th October because the normal hot lunch providers will not be visiting CWBS that day.

Class Contacts

On behalf of all the PTA members, we would like to thank the new and existing Class Contacts who volunteer to help and make our events successful! There is now only class 6S that has no class contacts, so the PTA would like to ask the parents of that class to step forward. Your child is missing all the information regarding the PTA’s busy social calendar for the students and this is their last year at CWBS. We Need You!
