Staff Appreciation Lunch and Winter Concert

Please be aware that both these events are happening on Tuesday 11th December.

Staff Appreciation Lunch

This is a great opportunity for parents to show their appreciation and thanks to all the teaching, admin and cleaning staff for all their hard work.  On Tuesday 11th December, Olivia Morley is coordinating and will need a good range of nut-free hot and cold dishes and desserts in order to provide full buffet lunch to all the staff.   There are about 100 people on staff to provide for and we need everyone’s help on this!!  A more detailed email about this will be sent out by your class contacts this weekend.  Should you wish to donate, please contact Olivia directly on morley.olivia@outlook.com or 93173990.

 Winter Concert

Starting at 6.30pm on Tuesday 11th December, CWBS students will give a spectacular musical performance on the outdoor stage. the PTA will provide hot chocolate and mulled wine, and the New Luncher are kindly donating sweet treats. The PTA will also be collecting for Operation Santa Claus at the concert.

Charitable Efforts

On from the success of donating all the unsold children’s books from the school fair to school libraries in disadvantaged areas of the Philippines with  the charitable project ‘Nurture’, this week, we received the good news that books donated earlier this year by the PTA have arrived at a school in Uganda. Thanks to Beatrice Carolli for her assistance with this donation.

The PTA are pleased to announce that after raising $1750 for the school in our festive flash sale last week, we have donated all unsold new toys to St John’s Cathedral and Bethune House, who provide charitable support to female migrant workers in Hong Kong.
